Shawnee, KS -- The Shawnee Mission Northwest Theatre Repertory Troupe will present the musical, "Gypsy", April 4-6 at 7:00 p.m. Performances will take place in the Greg Parker Auditorium, located at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, 12701 W. 67th St. Shawnee, KS 66216.
With music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, "Gypsy" follows the antics and impact of the ultimate stage mother. The musical is based on the memoir of Gypsy Rose Lee, a burlesque entertainer famous for her striptease act, and is known for such hits as "Everything's Coming up Roses" and "Let Me Entertain You".
Tickets are $10 and available at the door or on-line at www.smnwtheatre.com.
