Fox on the Fairway Auditions

RIVER CITY PLAYERS
ANNOUNCE
FALL PLAY AUDITIONS

The River City Players are calling all actors with or without experience. We will hold auditions for their fall comedy, FOX ON THE FAIRWAY by Ken Ludwig on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 and Thursday, September 6th, 2012. Auditions will be held at the United Methodist Church in their Family Life Center. The church is located at 1211 South 13 Hwy, Lexington, MO 64067. Auditions will be held from from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The play is a tribute from Ken Ludwig (LEND ME A TENOR, MOON OVER BUFFALO) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY takes audiences on a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics.
The cast calls for 3 men and 3 women of various ages (21 years and over). The audition process is informal. It will consist of cold readings from the script. Auditions may read for one or more parts. RCP welcomes all to audition with or without previous theater experience.
Crew members with or without experience are also needed to help with back stage responsibilities.
Play dates are November 2-3, 2012 and November 9-10, 2012. Sharon Propst will direct the production. The production will be held at United Methodist Church. The Church is located at 1211 South 13 Hwy, Lexington, MO 64067.
