KC Stage is looking for staff

If you go to www.kcstage.com/callboard, you'll see KC Stage's job list. (If you're with an organization who's looking to hire, please e-mail magazine@kcstage.com if you don't know how to use this system.) Included in the list are three positions we're looking to fill with eager volunteers who want to help promote KC Stage and are passionate about the arts.


1) Social Media Coordinator: Do you enjoy making new connections? Would you like to help promote KC Stage? Do you spend more time on Twitter and Facebook than you do with people face to face? KC Stage Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to the performing arts in and around the Kansas City area, is looking for a Social Media Coordinator.

The Social Media Coordinator will track and interact along all of KC Stage's social media outlets (currently Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Google+), and will recommend/manage potential other future outlets.

2) Events/Contest Coordinator: Do you enjoy making new connections? Would you like to help promote KC Stage through contests and networking events? KC Stage Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to the performing arts in and around the Kansas City area, is looking for an Event/Contest Coordinator.

The Events/Contest Coordinator will be in charge of getting tickets and other items for giveaways and planning various networking events.

3) Ad Sales Representative: Are you outgoing and persistent? Do you enjoy making new connections? KC Stage Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to the performing arts in and around the Kansas City area, is looking for an advertising sales representative.

The Ad Rep will identify prospective advertisers and then follow up by phone or in person to sell advertising (print and online) in our magazine. Other duties may be assigned on a case-by-case basis. This is the only paid position within KC Stage, receiving a 20% commission on all sales.
