KANSAS CITY, MO - Gary Sandy, one of the stars
of the hit TV series WKRP in Cincinnati, will
be among the special guest stars at the next
live performance of Right Between the Ears -
Friday, June 12 at 8:00pm at the Heartland
Forum Theatre (formerly the American Heartland
Theatre) in Crown Center, Kansas City.
Best known for his role as program director
Andy Travis in WKRP in Cincinnati, Gary has
also made countless TV guest appearances,
including Murder She Wrote, F.B.I The Untold
Story, The Young Riders, L.A. Law, and
Diagnosis Murder. He's also performed in over
100 theatrical productions, including the
Broadway productions of The Pirates of Penzance
and Arsenic and Old Lace, plus Bye Bye Birdie,
A Streetcar Named Desire and The Best Little
Whorehouse in Texas opposite Ann Margret.
Friday night's show will also feature David
Ossman of the legendary comedy troupe The
Firesign Theatre; and Barbara Rosenblat of TV's
Orange Is the New Black.
This performance of Right Between the Ears is
being presented as part of the 2015 HEAR Now
Festival, the audio equivalent of a film
festival for contemporary storytelling in all
its forms: classic radio theatre, audiobooks,
experimental narrative and more. The four-day
festival, June 11-14, will offer numerous live
and recorded performances at venues throughout
