Opening Reception for Photographer Sylvia Rose Augustus: Jun 13-
14: 6 pm Fri-Sat
Sylvia Rose Augustus is a native New Yorker, who moved to the
Kansas City Metro eleven years ago. Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Washington University in St. Louis; a Master of Arts in
Historic Preservation from Cornell University and a Master's of
Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. Sylvia was
extremely fortunate that her career path allowed her to spend
almost five years living and working in Yosemite National Park as a
preservation architect. During which time she spent her free time
taking landscape photographs while exploring the Sierra Nevada
Mountain Range. That passion for landscape photography remains
