Firesign Theatre's Phil Proctor on RBTE

The award-winning comedy show Right
Between the Ears hauls its big bag of radio
spoofery to Kansas City for a live performance
at the HearNOW Festival -- Saturday, June 22
at 8:00pm at UMKC's SpencerTheatre.

Joining the Right Between the Ears cast for this
performance are versatile film/TV actor Phil
Proctor, a founding member of the legendary
comedy troupe The Firesign Theatre; and
singer/actress Barbara Rosenblat, one of the
world's most sought-after audiobook narrators
and a Broadway/TV veteran.

The HearNOW Festival is an audio equivalent of
a film festival for contemporary storytelling in
all its forms: classic radio theatre, audiobooks,
experimental narrative and more. The four-day
festival, June 20-23, will offer numerous live
and recorded performances at local theaters
and other venues in Kansas City.

Besides being a 45-year member of the thrice-
Grammy-nominated Firesign Theatre, Phil
Proctor has played on- and off-Broadway, and
has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for
his role as Howard in the 3-time Emmy-winning
Rugrats. He's also starred in films and TV, and
voices the Drunken French Monkey in the Dr.
Dolittle series, Seahorse Bob in Finding Nemo,
the evil Dr. Vidic in the blockbuster Assassin's
Creed game and the Benefactor in the hit
series Arrow on CW, as well as numerous roles
in L. Ron Hubbard's Golden Age of Pulp Fiction
audio books and Blackstone's audio adaptation
of Zorro (starring Val Kilmer in the title role).

With over 400 audiobook titles to her credit,
Barbara Rosenblat has been named one of
Audiofile Magazine's "Golden Voices". She's
appeared in London's West End theatre,
worked for the BBC, British film and television
and performed on Broadway in the Tony
Award-winning musical The Secret Garden and
the critically acclaimed revival of Eric
Bogosian'sTalk Radio starring Liev Schrieber.
On TV, Barbara has appeared in Law and
Order SVU, Tales of the Unexpected and The
Guiding Light; her film credits include Little
Shop of Horrors and Reds.

Between the Ears are $15.00 and go on sale
May 24 at the Central Ticket Office, 816-235-

Tickets purchased by May 31 are available at
15% off the regular price.

Right Between the Ears is a four-time winner of
the Gold Medal as Best Comedy Show at the
New York Festivals, and is broadcast every
week on Sirius-XM's Comedy Showcase. The
show also airs Sundays at 7:00pm on the
stations of Kansas Public Radio (91.5,
Lawrence; 89.7, Emporia; 91.3, Junction City;
99.5 Manhattan; and 90.3 Chanute). Darrell
Brogdon is the show's creator and producer.
