NATIONAL
TAP DANCE DAY

In 1989, the United States Congress designated May 25, the birthdate of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, as National Tap Dance Day, the day to celebrate tap dance all over the country. It is now celebrated world wide.

Dancers, Musicians, Jazz and TAP enthusiasts are invited to join in commemorating this day in Kansas City

Saturday, May 25, 2013
From 7:00 to 9:30 pm
at The Uptown Arts Bar
3611 Broadway, Kansas City, MO

$5 cover charge
Jam with RICH HILL on keyboard and vocals
and VICTOR PERELMUTER on drums.

Bring your tap shoes, bring your friends, bring your instruments.
Jam with the live musicians from 7:00 to 9:00, and if you would like to perform prepared numbers, bring CD's and we'll show them at 9:00 pm.
To see videos of noted Tap Dancers and former KC Tap Dance Days at the Gem Theater and Marriott Hotel, come at 6:00 pm, and enjoy some food from the Uptown Art's Bar menu.
