AUDITIONS:
Sunday, June 9th from 5:30pm – 8:00pm
At St. Pius School
55th and Woodson, Mission, KS


EXPECTATION and PREPARATION:
Prepared to sing 32 bars of a rock song – either pop or jukebox musical.
Please provide sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Resumes and headshots are recommended but not required.


REHEARSALS:
Music rehearsals will begin around July 21, based on individual schedules. Typical rehearsal dates will by Sunday through Thursday from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, with Tech / Dress week from August 11th – 15th.
Conflicts should be kept to a minimum; no conflicts during tech week will be accepted.

PRODUCTION DATES:
August 16 -18, 2013
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm

SYNOPSIS:
A driving beat, a guitar riff and soaring vocals can be found in a number of Broadway shows from BYE BYE BIRDIE to SPIDER MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK. The Barn Players goes on a musical tour of the last 50 years of rock on Broadway with songs from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, HAIR, AMERICAN IDIOT, BRING IT ON, MEMPHIS and more!

CAST BREAKDOWN
The director is looking for a talented group of singers, both male and female for this ROCK concert. The cast will consist of 10 to 16 performers for this one-of-a-kind benefit concert for The Barn!
