The River City Community Players have just set its 2014 season.
The season will begin with Young Frankenstein holding auditions Jan. 2, 3 and 4 and perfomances Feb 21, 22, 28, Mar 1, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. and a Mar 2 matinee at 2 p.m.
Next up is Beau Jest with auditions Mar 10 and 11 and perfomances Apr 18, 19, 25, 26, May 2 and 3 8 p.m. Apr 27 matinee at 2 p.m.
The Spring Youth Show will be The Very Great Grandson of Sherlock Holmes with auditions Apr 28 and 29 and performances May 30 and 31 8 p.m. Jun 1 matinee at 2 p.m.
The summer musical will be Legally Blonde, The Musical with auditions Jun 2, 3 and 4 and performances Jul 25, 26 Aug 1, 2, 8 and 9 8 p.m. Aug 3 matinee at 2 p.m.
The Fall Youth Show will be Honk Jr. with auditions Aug 4 and 5 - performances Sep 19 and 20 8 p.m. Sep 21 matinee at 2 p.m.
The final show for 2014 will be Bus Stop with auditions Sep 15 and 16 - performances Oct 24, 25, 31 Nov 1, 7 and 8 8 p.m. Nov 2 matinee at 2 p.m.
The rights to these shows are pending and the season lineup could change based on the availability of shows.
The RCCP will begin accepting applications for director's in July.
