SYNOPSIS: A black comedy about white trash! The author of Daddy's Dyin'…Who's Got the Will?, brings you a comedy that was nominated for over thirty awards during its long run in Los Angeles. When Peggy, a good Christian woman, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover's wooden legs in a motel room, family chaos erupts in Winters, Texas.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Bitsy Mae Harling- (Female 21 - 45) A local singer with a "reputation". Bitsy Mae opens every scene with a song. Must be able to play the guitar, as well.

Ty Williamson- (Male 25 - 30) The son of Latrelle, Ty is a closeted 20-something gay man who left behind the small Southern Baptist town in Texas and moved to West Hollywood to become an actor. Ty opens every scene with a monologue.

Sissy Hicks- (Female 40 - 55) Peggy's much younger sister, and aunt to Brother Boy, LaVonda and Latrelle. Sissy just wants to stop smoking but gets stuck trying to hold the family together.

Noleta Nethercott- (Female 25 - 40) Sissy's next-door neighbor, the distraught wife of G.W. Nethercott, and best friend to LaVonda.

Latrelle Williamson- (Female 40 – 50) Ty's very uptight mother, who is primarily concerned with keeping up appearances.

LaVonda DuPree (Female 30 - 45) Latrelle's sister who is the opposite of uptight. Best friends with Noleta.

Wardell "Bubba" Owens (Male 40 -50) Runs the local bar. Used to have a thing with LaVonda and was a best friend to "Brother Boy"

Odell Owens (Male 30 - 40) Wardell's nitwit brother. His claim to fame is the ability to perform string tricks.

G.W Nethercott (Male 40 - 50) Noleta's adulterous husband. Feels responsible for Peggy's death. This character has two wooden legs.

Juanita Bartlett (Female 35 - 50) The town drunk. Suffers from short-term memory loss.

Dr. Eve Bollinger (Female 35 - 45) She is trying to "dehomosexualize" Brother Boy. If she can, she'll be able to leave middle of nowhere Texas.
