A Crossdressing Comedy

Belton's High School Theatre Department invites you to our production of Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies. This theatrical comedy will run from February 14th-16th at 7 P.M. and on February 17th at 2 P.M. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door on performance nights. The tickets for Leading Ladies are $5 for students and $6 for adults. Our production will be presented at the BHS Forum Theatre, 107 Pirate Parkway.

In this hilarious comedy, two English actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish Country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady by the name of Florence Snider is about to pass on and leave her 10 million dollar fortune to her long lost nephews "Max and Steve," they decide to make a devious plan to get the fortune. Hilarity ensues when the two men figure out that it was not her two nephews that would get her fortune, but her two nieces Maxine and Stephanie instead! Follow both Jack and Leo through their harebrained schemes to get Florence's fortune.

The Leading Ladies cast includes Lara Ware as Meg Snider; Sterling Cooke as Duncan Wooley; Rusty Phillips as Doc Myers; Matthew Hollingsworth as Leo Clark; James Keller as Jack Gable; Jaycee Wright as Audrey; Jeff Hartnett as Butch Myers; and Leasa Lockard as Florence Snider.

Come see this hysterical hijinks and cross-dressing comedy on February 14-17 with Belton High School Theatre Department's production of "Leading Ladies ". It will definitely be a show you won't forget and a night of laughter you will be sure to remember. We hope to see you there!
