award-winning production of BIG RIVER (Kauffman
Center, summer 2014) now brings you INTO THE
WOODS! (Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Book by James Lapine.)

Auditions: March 7th from 10:30-3:00 (open call
for ages 8 & up)
Callbacks: March 8th from 1:00-4:00pm
Performances: Yardley Hall, Aug. 6th-9th

As the result of the curse of a once-beautiful
witch, a baker and his wife are childless.
Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they
venture into the forest to find the ingredients
that will reverse the spell and restore the
witch's beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as
yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper
of gold. During their journey, they meet
Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel
and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a
wish.

*Bring 32 bars of a memorized song with marked
sheet music. Similar style of show preferred.
No songs from the show.
*Accompanist provided. No karaoke tracks or
acapella auditions allowed.
*Auditions open to public (ages 8 & up). No
previous involvement or enrollment required.
*Only ages 14 & up will be considered for lead
roles.
