The Art of Murder, by Philip blue owl Hooser
In 1975, the art world bids a sad adieu to a famous painter. Rushing to his funeral in Kansas City is a rogue's gallery of art lovers, art students, art collectors . . . and a con artist. And in the midst of all this mourning, a murder is committed on the train! Is someone being drawn into an abstract plot? Or is a frame-up?
The evening begins with role-playing at 6:30 pm, followed by a marvelous meal and a madcap mystery-comedy show. Most shows are at The Tiffany Ballroom, 903 Harrison Street, Kansas City, Mo 64106. Selected dates, Feb 20 and March 14, are at Bonefish Grill, 6334 N Lucerne Avenue, Kansas City, Mo 64151. Tickets are $69.00 per person on Fridays and Saturdays, and include dinner, show, tax and gratuity. First Fridays are $10 off all tickets. A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (816) 813-9654, or through The Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222 or, order online.
