City in Motion's Youth Showcase will be held on Saturday, January 17 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the Academie Lafayette auditorium, Cherry Street campus, 3421 Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO 64109.
Parents, family and friends are invited to see what students are learning from to warm-up sequences and cross the floor movements to new choreography of the Children's Dance Theater and Apprentice Company.
The showcase is a great way to inspire the younger students and to experience growth in technique from year to year.
Students who have participated in the program have gone on to get master's degrees in dance and college dance scholarships; to become artistic directors and dance company members; and to becoming responsible community members with great life skills with an appreciation for the arts.
