Kansas City Cappies Awards

The Kansas City Cappies held their 10th Annual Awards Gala last night, to celebrate the best in high school theatre.

Hosted by local actress and Price Chopper spokesperson, Jill Szoo, the event honored students in 38 categories of theatrical acheivement with all the fanfare of the Tony's.

They are proud to announce the following students who recieved awards at the Gala;

Program Director, Beth Bloom Ocheskey, and show director, Brad Rackers also announced the multi-school cast and crew for the Cappies Summer Theatre program, which will be producing the musical XANADU on July 20 & 21 at Belton High School.

The Kansas City Cappies will be accepting new schools into the program over the summer and training thier next round of student critics in September.
