"Miracle on 34th Street" Press Release

Theatre Atchison continues its 31st main stage season with "Miracle on 34th Street" from the Novel by Valentine Davis, based on the Twentieth Century Fox motion picture "Miracle on 34th Street", Adapted by Mountain Community Theater, produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois: Dec 5-14: 8 pm Fri-Sat; 2 pm Sun
Kris Kringle, a charming elderly gentleman, stumbles into a job as the Santa Claus at Macy's in New York City. Kris unleashes waves of good will with customers and the commercial world when he refers parents to other stores to help them with their Christmas shopping. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy's vocational counselor, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing to prove that he is in fact Santa Claus. Especially at stake is one little girl's belief that dreams really can come true. Directed by Breanna Danielle.
