CATS "in Concert"

Mid Life Players' Amateur production of
CATS "in Concert" by Andrew Lloyd Webber: Apr 25-May 3: 7:30 pm Fri-Sat
Based on the universally popular poetry of T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London's New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years. CATS's London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Wintergarden Theatre for just over 18 years. Directed by Dan Prather and Curt Knupp, Music Directed by Becky Clark. Featuring Ken Kasten, Ed Leonard, Julie Fox, Joy Richardson, Joe Bartlett, Robert Ritter, Debra Skodack Burnes, Dottie Bartlett, Scott Powell, John Van de Voort, Kate Elcock, Dee Green, Julie McDaniel, Diana Leonard, Georgia Schmittling, Janet Shelman, Patty Moore Armstrong, Linda Wetzel, Moe Graenser, Chad Burris, Curt Knupp, Thomas Anderson, Richie Johnson, Dan Prather, Becca Stabno, Gary Barber, Bill Bergman, and Kristine Norvaishas.
