EnArts announces The Toymaker and Me

EnArts

The Toymaker and Me by Marc Wayne: Nov 17-18, 22-
23: 7 pm; Nov 20: 7:30 pm

The Toymaker and Me tells the moving story of a
precocious orphan girl and a grumpy old toymaker
who in spite of repeated rejection and great
disappointment find the secret that gives life to
broken things. When a gift meets a need, sparks fly
and life happens. In Marc Wayne's The Toymaker and
Me, that life comes in surprisingly moving ways.

This premier production of Marc Wayne's The
Toymaker and Me is family-friendly and appropriate
for all ages. It may be especially appealing to
kids, as it focuses on a 12-year-old orphan girl
who in the process of discovering her unique
giftedness (her "spark") helps Mr. Baker, a grumpy
old toymaker, rediscover the joy and meaning of
life.
