Season Auditions for The Mystery Train

Kansas City, Mo. (January 6, 2016) The Mystery Train will hold general auditions for its 2016 season of shows by appointment only on Jan 10 & 11. Seeking 20 professional actors and showmen, of various ages, 20 to 60, for these interactive murder-mystery comedies, as well as a Stage Manager/House Manager. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings in area restaurants and banquet venues. Call for more information, 816-813-9654.

Back in Time for Murder (Feb 5-Mar 26) by Jessica Whitfield -- A scientist from the future has invented a train that travels through time. As she travels back in time to meet her ancestors, she discovers an unsolved murder. Can the passengers help her solve the case without disrupting the space/ time continuum?
Dead or Alive in 1985 April 15-June 4)by Michael M. Dragen -- It's the 1985 World Series between cross state rivals the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals. Fans of both teams are taking the train to Kansas City for Game 6 when some "foul play" occurs and it's three strikes and someone is eliminated!
Smokin' Hot Homicide (June 24-August 13) by Wendy Thompson -- Old enemies find themselves on the same train home one summer. Tempers flare, arguments get heated and there's mention of stolen recipes. A smoldering rage ignites into murder. Is that barbeque sauce, … or blood?
A Murder Foretold (September 2-October 22)-- As the day of the dead approaches, the omens point to disaster on the train. The spirits are whispering of a deadly intention and the passengers struggle to prevent a train wreck.
A Christmas Stalking (Nov 11-Dec 31) by Wendy Thompson -- In the middle of the blizzard of 1918, three women reunite on the train to reminisce about the Christmas that almost never was. However, someone doesn't want them stirring up memories and may cause history to repeat itself … before their stockings are filled, a murder is afoot!
