AUDITIONS for The Children's Hour

Critically acclaimed author Lillian Hellman's, The Children's Hour is a controversial, ground-breaking classic drama. A powerful tale that centers on Karen Wright and Martha Dobie, two young women who have spent years working toward their dream of running a school for young ladies. When one of their more troublesome students runs away, she creates a lie so shocking it can only be whispered. The scandal that follows will throw their lives into turmoil and destroy everything they hold dear. Directed by Matt Hentges. By special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.,
A cast of 14 is required including:,
7 roles for girls (characters' age range: 12-16),,
5 roles for women (characters' age range: 27-69),,
1 role for a man (character's age range: 30-36),
and 1 role for a boy (character's age range: 16-20),
