THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE is a high-spirited, zany new 1920's musical that took Broadway by storm, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical in the 2001 – 2002 season. Taking place in New York City in 1922, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever. Based on the popular 1967 movie.

AVENUE Q

April 17 – May 3
Music & Lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx RATED R
Book by Jeff Whitty Industry Night: April 27th
Based on an original concept by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx
Puppets Conceived & Designed by Rick Lyon / Animation Design by Robert Lopez
AVENUE Q is a hilarious modern musical focusing on a group of unique 20-somethings making their way in the big city, seeking their purpose in life. Although the show addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children's show; a place where puppets are friends, Monsters are good and life lessons are learned. Winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, AVENUE Q is part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart. AVENUE Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION

May 31 – June 14
By John Guare RATED R
13 males / 4 females Industry Night: June 8th
Inspired by a true story, the play follows the trail of a young black con man, Paul, who insinuates himself into the lives of a wealthy New York couple, Ouisa and Flan Kittredge, claiming he knows their son at college. Paul tells them he is the son of actor Sidney Poitier, and that he has just been mugged and all his money is gone. Captivated by Paul's intelligence and his fascinating conversation (and the possibility of appearing in a new Sidney Poitier movie), the Kittredges invite him to stay. Winner of the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play in 1991.

EQUUS

July 31 – August 15
By Peter Shaffer RATED R
Industry Night: August 10th
Dr. Martin Dysart, a psychiatrist, is confronted with Alan Strang, a boy who has blinded six horses in a violent fit of passion. This very passion is as foreign to Dysart as the act itself. To the boy's parents it is a hideous mystery; Alan has always adored horses. To Dysart it is a psychological puzzle that leads both doctor and patient to a complex and disturbingly dramatic confrontation. This international success reached new acclaim in London and on Broadway when revived in 2008. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding New Foreign Play and the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best in 1975.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY

September 18 – October 4
Music & Lyrics by Andrew Lippa RATED PG-13
Lyrics & Book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice Industry Night: September 28th
Based on the characters created by Charles Addams
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents. Nominated for two Tony Awards during the 2011 – 2012 Broadway season.

THE PRODUCERS

November 6 - 22
Music & Lyrics by Mel Brooks RATED R
Book by Thomas Meehan Industry Night: November 16th
Based on the 1968 Film
A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history thereby bilking their backers (all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive "Springtime For Hitler"), hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends. Winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, during the 2000 – 2001 Broadway season.
