Story Telling and Creative Workshop:

International performer and producer Gavin Robertson shares some of the tools from his creative toolbox that influence the making of his own work including corporal mime technique - far from being abandoned in the ghetto of street theatre, this can be a speedy and economic theatre/storytelling technique that audiences respond to worldwide.

Transposing the cinema: less a physical technique and more a mindset, this one true global language is ours to harness in the theatre and appeals to any audiences' inner storytelling analyst!

Plus, some warm-up games and partner work that can free you to play with text or simply open you up to working with better focus...

Come and play!

(Please do come with a speech or monologue you can use. No more than 90 seconds needed - if you know one that's longer, that's fine! Dress for movement as well!)

$40
