The Just Off Broadway Theatre continues its' over ten years of supporting Kansas City Artists with a week-long celebration June 17-22, 2013. Community events encourage guests to enjoy the great space and fund raising opportunities encourage the local community to support the Just Off Broadway Theatre.
The week begins on Monday, June 17th with an open house and theatre tours from 12:00-8:00pm. An artist business networking night also be a part of the evening. This free event will include snacks and drinks.
Kids Night Out will be Tuesday, June 18th from 6:30-8:30pm for kids ages 3-12. The night will include movement class with Mr. Michael of Upstage Talent and a variety circus show with Dennis Porter of Happy Faces Entertainment. This free event will include snacks and drinks.
Wednesday, June 19th is for the adults, with a Burlesque Extravaganza Show. The New Century Follies hosted by Annie Cherry will perform from 8:00 - 9:00pm for only $10.
KC Melting Pot with Harvey Williams invites everyone to the theater for a reading of "The Session", their upcoming production. The $5 event is on Thursday, June 20th from 6:30 - 8:30pm.
Friday, June 21st is another evening to relax for the adults. This Parents Night Out will include a dance mixer, show of jugglers and variety performers, KKFI radio, Ms. Missouri Teen USA 2013 and a dedication ceremony. Grilled food and drinks are included with your $5 ticket, 6:30 - ??pm
The FundRaiser Finale is Saturday, June 22nd from 7:00 - 9:30pm. The free evening will include special guest Mrs. Missouri United States 2012, a cocktail hour, silent auction, performers showcase and food provided by Californo's Restaurant.
Donations to support the Just Off Broadway Theatre will be accepted at all events. RSVP to 816-784-5020 is appreciated but not required.
