A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody Opening Weekend

Everything is done; the set is built; costumes fitted; props in place and final rehearsals have been completed.

The River City Community Players announces opening night for A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody by Ron Bernas.

It's New Year's Eve and Julia and Matthew seem to have it all. Matthew's New Year resolution is to murder her by years' end.

Julia dodges his devious murder attempts, the Perry friends and staff are dying off mysteriously. Matthew is successful in murdering everyone but Julia.

Enter Detective Plotnik, a Sam Spade type who suspects everyone, but not a clue. Until he stumbles upon Julia and Butler Buttram in what he mistakenly perceives as a compromising situation. He jumps to the conclusion she is the murderer.

Directed by Jeff Adams. Featuring Julie Stone Head, Cape Rust, Rich Bayse, Ken Janasz, Danielle Knight and Kyle Young.

Performances are: October 26 & 27; November 2, 3, 9 and 10 beginning at 8 p.m. with a November 4 matinee beginning at 2 p.m.

There will be an opening night reception at the conclusion of the show on the mezzanine level of the theater.

Tickets are: adults $10; 12 & under $5; 62+ & groups 10+ $8.
