ABOUT THE MISER
A commedia-style period romp opens The Theatre Gym's 2012-2013 Season of Laughter. Join Alan Tilson as Harpagon the Miser along with a great supporting cast of Kansas City players. Enter an 18th century theatre to experience Stephen Booser's witty modern adaptation of Molière's hilarious romantic comedy: Harpagon's son Cleante loves Marianne. His daughter Elise loves his steward Valere. But Harpagon has other ideas for all of them. When Harpagon's one true love—his money box—is stolen, he explodes. Before the surprise twists at the end, he threatens to hang everyone...including the audience!
