The Chestnut Presents "And the Oscar Goes To..."

Olathe, KS – May 2, 2012 – . "And the Oscar Goes
To …" opens May 17 at the Chestnut Fine Arts
Center in Olathe. This dazzling musical revue
celebrates Hollywood's favorite Oscar-winning
songs. Since the invention of the motion picture,
movies and music have been intertwined, so take
your seat and movie classics like Lullaby of
Broadway, When You Wish Upon a Star, Buttons and
Bows, Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head and many
more!

And the Oscar Goes To... stars Samantha Agron,
Kevin Bogan, Curt Crespino, Lauren Hussey, Rebecca
Johnston, Mark Murphy & Kipp Simmons. This show
is directed by Brad Zimmerman and choreographed by
Kipp Simmons. This performance is rated G.

And the Oscar Goes To... runs May 17 - June 17,
2012 at the Chestnut Fine Arts Center located at
234 North Chestnut in Olathe. Performances are
Thursday through Saturday evenings at 8 pm and
Sunday matinees at 2 pm. There will be an
additional show on Sat. June 9 at 3 pm. Tickets
are $23.00; discounts available for seniors,
students and groups.

About the Chestnut:

The Chestnut Fine Arts Center opened its doors in
May, 1998 in Olathe, KS, as a sole proprietorship,
and it operated in a small one-room theatre.
Throughout the next four years, the Chestnut
flourished and in July, 2002, became fully
incorporated as a non-profit organization within
Kansas and was granted 501(c) (3) status by the
IRS. The Chestnut is proud of its top-quality
entertainment -- all ages are welcome and
encouraged to attend all performances.
