Western Playhouse (CASTING SUMMER SEASON):

Open auditions for 1st summer season held Saturday, April 28th, from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Fishtank Theatre, 1715 Wyandotte, KC, MO 64108. Productions lined up for the season include "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," "Barefoot in the Park" & "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change." Western Playhouse is located on the beautiful campus of Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

All auditioning are asked to prepare a comedic monologue up to one-minute in length. Those also auditioning for the musicals should prepare up to a one-minute traditional musical theatre song. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to read from the specific show during the audition. Contracts will be awarded on per show basis, but potential to be in full company for all shows. All actors will be offered a stipend and theatre will be working under a Guest Artist Equity contract. Seeking Non-Union talent at this time.
