EXPECTATION and PREPARATION:
Prepare to sing 32 bars of an up tempo musical
theatre selection that features your range and
ability to communicate character through song.

Please provide sheet music in your key. An
accompanist will be provided.

Music rehearsals will begin late July, based on
individual schedules.

Conflicts should be kept to a minimum; no
conflicts during tech week will be accepted.

SYNOPSIS:
Based on the 1970's cartoon, this faced-paced
musical teaches lessons with clever, catchy
tunes.

A pop culture phenomenon comes to the musical
stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! The Emmy Award-
winning 1970's Saturday morning cartoon series
that taught history, grammar, math, and more
through clever, tuneful songs.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-
wracked school teacher who is nervous about his
first day of teaching. He tries to relax by
watching TV when various characters
representing facets of his personality emerge
from the set and show him how to win his
students over with imagination and music,
through such songs as "Just A Bill," "Lolly,
Lolly, Lolly," and "Conjunction Junction." –
