Very Special Guests visit the Kick Comedy Theater February 1

The Bearded Men and Eric Christensen's "KC Up Late" come to KC
Kansas City, MO, January 23, 2014 — Minneapolis-based group,
The Bearded Men, will perform at the Kick Comedy Theater as part
of its "Beard by Beardwest" tour. The troupe of 6 men began their
journey on January 28th at the Huge Theater in Minneapolis. Kansas
City is stop number 3 on the improv group's tour that ends on
February 16th in Los Angeles.

The Bearded Men are known for their "Epic Adventures," improvised
stories created from an audience suggestion. They will perform at
8pm at the Kick Comedy Theater on February 1st, followed by the
KC Improv Company.

Eric Christensen of Up Late Productions continues the night of
special guests at 10pm with his show "KC Up Late." It will based on
Christensen's long-running late-night style show "STL Up Late,"
which includes live music, interviews with local guests, interactive
audience games, and comedy sketches. Up Late Productions puts on
the show Saturdays at ANNONYarts in Saint Louis.

For the KC translation of the show, Local rock group Cowboy Indian
Bear will perform, and Christensen will interview a representative
from Harvesters.

The KC Improv Company has over 14 years of specializing in both
long-form and short-form improvisational comedy. The group has
called the Kick Comedy Theater home for over two years. With
business partners Green Room Burgers and Beer and the Westport
Coffeehouse, the KC Improv Co strives to create a total food, drink,
and entertainment experience. Each Saturday brings a different type
of show, including the second Saturday's "Live in Front of a Studio
Audience" and third Saturday's competition show, "Underground
Throwdown."

Tickets for The Bearded Men and "KC Up Late" are $10, or $5 with a
college student ID.
