Changing Trains
Kansas City, Mo. (January 13, 2014) Due to a delay in acquiring the rights to "End of the Line", The Mystery Train announces a change in its line-up of shows for its Tenth Season. The very popular "Drawn to Murder" will take its place on the calendar. Opening on February 7th and running through March 29, 2014, performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 pm in area restaurants. If playing a detective (or a cartoon) is on your bucket list, come join us!
"Drawn to Murder" is set in 1923 Kansas City, when Walt is fascinated with animation. The competition to be in Newman's Laugh O Grams is a funny business—but no one's laughing! Before you know it, some crazy characters are running loose on the train and it's all fun and games until someone gets rubbed out! A cartoon conundrum that Disney wouldn't have imagined!
Murder mystery dinner theater is presented as a live interactive game, but not all dinner companions are who they seem: one of them may be an accomplice to murder—or even the murderer himself! The evening begins with role-playing at 6:30 pm, followed by a marvelous meal and a mystery-comedy show at 7:00.
Shows are performed at The Golden Ox in downtown KC, Californos in Westport, and Finnigan's in NKC. Visit our website for an complete schedule, www.kcmysterytrain.com. Tickets are $69.00 on Friday and Saturday, and includes dinner, show, and gratuity. First Fridays are $10 off! A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (816) 813-9654, or The Central Ticket Office at 816-235-6222.
