Fire It Up!

Kansas City, Mo. (June 15, 2016) As the summer heats up, so does The Mystery Train with "Smokin' Hot Homicide" opening on June 24th. The interactive murder-mystery runs through August 13th, with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, downtown Kansas City, Mo. Starring (l to r) Robert E. Coppage III, Khrystal Coppage, and Alexis L. Dupree as the Shady Characters that keep the train on track.

"Smokin' Hot Homicide", by Wendy Thompson – Old enemies find themselves on the same train to Kansas City in the summer of 1926. Tempers flare, arguments get heated and there is mention of stolen recipes. A smoldering rage ignites into murder! Is that barbecue sauce … or blood?

Having fun with Kansas City history for over ten years, The Mystery Train is presented as a live-action role-playing game. The evening begins at 6:30 pm by selecting an alias and ends when the Grand Master Gumshoe receives a trophy. Located at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1301 Wyandotte Street, Kansas City, Missouri on Friday and Saturday evenings. See the website for a complete schedule and menus.

Tickets are $69.00, including dinner, show, and gratuity. A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are needed and can be made by calling (816) 813-9654, or order online at www.kcmysterytrain.com. The Mystery Train is also available for private parties and group bookings.
