General Auditions - Pan-Asian American Artists of Kansas City

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Kansas City, MO - September 21, 2015 - Pan-
Asian American Artists of Kansas City are proud
to announce general auditions for their
inaugural season on September 26th, 2015 at the
Olathe Civic Theatre (500 E. Loula, Olathe, KS
66061).

All races, ethnicities, types, disabilities are
encouraged to apply. The organization is
looking in particular for performance artists
of Asian, South/Southeast Asian, and Pacific
Islander descent who are ages 18+. Please bring
a headshot and resume with updated contact
information.

Auditions should consist of two contrasting
monologues and be no more than two minutes
total, not including a song. A monitor for time
will be provided. If you wish to sing, please
prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of a
show that best shows off your voice. CD player
will be available. Our inaugural season, "In
Our Voices, Through Our Eyes," will introduce
Kansas City audiences to four classic and
contemporary scripts from Asian American
theatre. Some positions will be paid.

readings of both contemporary and classic plays
to establish a core of professional level
artists and participants.
