Forbidden Broadway Greatest Hits by Gerard Alessandrini: Aug 17-18: 3 pm Sat-Sun
In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters. Directed by Catherine Boone & Becky Clark. Prepare 32 measures of Musical Theatre selection in style of show. (Not a song from "Forbidden Broadway") Bring sheet music in your key, accompanist will be provided. No A'cappella or singing with CDs. You may be asked to sing short clip of song from the show, because we won't be having callbacks. Bring a Resume and Headshot if you have them. Open to all 35 and older. Rehearsals will be Sun and Mon, beginning Aug 25. Rehearsal Location TBD. 4 performances will be Oct 18, 19, 25, & 26.
