Moonshine and Murder

Kansas City, Mo. (April 9, 2013) The Mystery Train is coming in from the Ozarks with its spring show, "Baldknobbers and Backstabbers"! Opening night is April 19, and it runs through June 8, with performances on Friday, Saturday, and two Sundays, April 21 & 28. Michael Hudgens, Claudia Copping, Jamie Lin, and Erik J Pratt are the usual suspects, conniving to lead you astray! If playing detective, or being a suspect, is what you're hankerin' for, get onboard!

Baldknobbers and Backstabbers by Philip blue owl Hooser -- It's 1936, and the end of the Depression is down the road a-piece when baldknobbers and big wheels, gamblers and 'guvment' go-betweens gather to sit a spell—until someone is snuffed-out. Will the killer head for the hills? It's a hootenanny-and-a-half filled with folk wisdom that's finer than frog hair!

Murder mystery dinner theater is presented as a live interactive game. The evening begins with seating and role-playing at 6:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 5:30 pm on Sundays, followed by a marvelous meal and a mystery-comedy. Shows are held at The Golden Ox, 1600 Genesee, in downtown KC on Fridays/Saturdays; and at The Hereford House, 8661 N Stoddard Ave, in Zona Rosa on Sundays. Tickets are $54 - $64 each and reservations are needed. (see our website for a complete schedule)
