The ultimate low-tech adventure in a high-tech world
www.byrdproductions.org
Inspired by irretrievable hours sucked into Angry Birds, YouTube and deciphering privacy settings. Each "app" opens a window into the bizarre, addictive and sometimes surprisingly human things we follow, share, and become with our gadgets.
Written and performed by Kirsten Stephens. Kirsten combines her years of training with world famous mime Marcel Marceau with the experience of navigating the wireless world of instant connection and digital entertainment to create a show of painfully funny visual puns that anyone who uses the Internet can relate to. What else should she have done with all that training? (ask her parents)
If you've seen previous incarnations of this show - you're in for a treat! She keeps some of her favorites and adds some new hilarious numbers - due to new "research" in online dating and the similarities between Google and Droopy the Dog.
Alas, there is only one performance of this show:
8:00, Friday March 22nd at The Arts Asylum
Tickets are only $10 for adults,
$8 for students/seniors/military/KCFringe button holders
$5 for kids 16 and younger
