Laugh Local! Performing troupes for our first Saturday 10:00 show at the Kick Comedy Theater are Disappointing Birthday Party, I Don't Want Solidarity If It Means Holding Hands With You, and Doctor Robot! Our host is Tim Marks!
The KC Improv Festival, one of the longest running comedy festivals in the US, returns in September with several nights of make-up-the-funny shows at the Off Center Theater in Crown Center and Kick Comedy Theater in Westport.
Produced by The KC Improv Company - The KC Improv Company has over 14 years of specializing in both long-form and short-form improvisational comedy. The group has called the Kick Comedy Theater home for over two years. With business partners Green Room Burgers and Beer and the Westport Coffeehouse, the KC Improv Co strives to create a total food, drink, and entertainment experience. Each Saturday brings a different type of show, including the second Saturday's "Live in Front of a Studio Audience" and third Saturday's competition show, "Underground Throwdown."
