Bebe Wood from NBC's The New Normal returns to Kansas City
to star in Seussical with Music Theatre for Young People

Bebe Wood, who stars as Shania in the NBC comedy The New
Normal, will play the role of JoJo in MTYP's upcoming production
of Seussical. Also starring will be alumns Tim Markman as
Horton and Heather Layher as Gertrude. Seussical is the
culmination of MTYP's 20 year anniversary in Kansas City and
will feature 50 young people from the greater Kansas City area,
plus a full orchestra of students and alumns.

MTYP will be presenting Seussical the Musical, on December 29
at 7:00 p.m. and December 30 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in
White Recital Hall on the UMKC campus (4949 Cherry).
Advanced tickets are available for $12 for students and $18 for
adults. Tickets at the door are $20 for adults and $15 for
students. Season Ticket packages are also available. Reservations
are through the Central Ticket Office: 816-235-6222.

Seussical is a musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss. It is a
rather complex combination of his most famous characters and
stories.
