Big May Second Saturday with Art Exhibition from the Wyandotte Art Association : May 9: 6:30 pm Sat
We start the evening with a reception for the 50 years of Fine Arts Dedication for the Wyandotte Art Association. The Exhibit will kick off at 6:30PM with a reception marking their incredible milestone. Come meet the Artists and find out what their organization can offer you as a new member. There will also be a silent auction with an assortment of goodies and gift baskets from several friends including the Wyandotte Arts Association who will be exhibiting in the galleries during the evenings festivities. The proceeds from the auction will go to Alcott. What an example to others; celebrating 50 years of service to Wyandotte County by raising money for another not for profit, in this case it's benefiting the Alcott.

**Classes start May 18, 2015 and are 8 weeks long and meet every Monday beginning May 18th. Ideal for anyone looking to improve their confidence, public speaking, acting, or comedy. Level 1: Intro to Improv (7-8:30pm) – Trinity Lutheran Church
Improv Comedy class for beginners. Early-bird price: $110 for all eight classes. Regular price after May 11th is $125.
This course helps adults learn and explore the art of improvisational acting and comedy. Students will also benefit by improving their listening skills, confidence, team-building, trust, and collaboration skills. And they WILL have fun!
LEVEL 2: Scenework (7-9pm) – Trinity Lutheran Church
Improv Comedy class for intermediate improvisers. Early-bird price: $125 for all eight classes. Regular price after May 11th is $140.
This class is for improvisers who want to continue the fun of improv, and to improve their scenework. Completion of Level 1 is required (or pre-approval by instructors).
Level 3: Intro to Long-Form (7-9pm) – Trinity Lutheran Church
Improv Comedy class for intermediate improvisers. Early-bird price: $125 for all eight classes. Regular price after May 11th is $140.
This class is for intermediate improvisers who want to learn the basics of long-form improv. Completion of Level 2 is required (or pre-approval by instructors).
LEVEL 4: Intermediate Long-Form (7-9pm) – Trinity Lutheran Church
Improv Comedy class for intermediate improvisers. Early-bird price: $125 for all eight classes. Regular price after May 11th is $140.
Students will continue to work on long-form formats while identifying personal goals and receiving specific feedback from their instructor. Completion of Level 3 is required (or pre-approval by instructors). Students will also learn more advanced long-form techniques and long-form formats.
Sketch Writing and Performance (7-9pm) – Trinity Lutheran Church
Early-bird price: $125 for all eight classes. Regular price after May 11th is $140.
Students will collaborate to write and refine sketch comedy pieces as well as rehearse for a 30 minute sketch performance at the Kick Comedy Theater. Some comedy experience encouraged, but not necessary! Attendance and outside of class writing are very important for this class. Classes may end prior to 9pm for writing sessions.
Saturday All-Play Class (1pm) – Kick Comedy Theater
Improv Comedy class for all human beings $15 per class, or $60 for 5 classes.
This ongoing course is designed to help students of any level. Foster and other instructors help you learn and explore the art of improvisational acting and comedy and plan the classes to give each student what he or she needs to improve and become more confident in his or her play. If you're not sure if you would like to sign up for an 8 week course, then this is the class for you.

Improv Coaching
Coaching is for those who want to continue the pursuit of improv performance, with a focus on excellent scenework and long-form performance.
